LGBT MPA & C2 Association Strategies
Cameron Curtis, CMM, CAE lives by a mantra shared by her grandmother: “Never turn down anything but your coat collar.” Over the course of more than 25 years, Cameron has led and transformed a wide range of professional associations. She is President and Chief Innovator of C2 Association Strategies, where she also serves as CEO of the LGBT Meeting Professionals Association (LGBT MPA).
Earlier in her career, Cameron served as CEO of the Association of Air Medical Services and held executive director roles with several national and scientific organisations. Her achievements include leading a successful federal lawsuit to support patient access to quality care and fair reimbursement; developing the infrastructure for a global interventional oncology patient registry; launching a clinical trials program; initiating DEI efforts; and guiding multiple organizations through cultural and strategic change.
Cameron holds a BA in music theater from Christopher Newport University. She is a member of ASAE, chair of the CAE Commission, and past chair of the Meetings & Exposition Professionals Council. She also serves on the board of directors for SocialOffset and is a member of the EIC leadership council through LGBT MPA.

The LGBTQIA2+ community is diverse, with overlapping experiences related to race, ethnicity, gender identity, gender expression, neurodiversity, and accessibility, including non-apparent disabilities.
