Dustin Westling is a well-known figure in Canada’s live experiences industry—as an event professional, thought leader and passionate advocate for community.

As Owner and Managing Partner of OneWest Events, Dustin leads a team of energetic professionals who love what they do. Known for creativity and collaboration, OneWest reflects Dustin’s philosophy of partnership, positivity and industry progress.

In 2024, Dustin was named Event Professional of the Year by Canadian Special Events Magazine and awarded an Honorary BA in Business Administration from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. Alongside leading his team’s work in event design and production, he’s held roles in industry organizations and educational institutions, helping spark dialogue, tackle key issues and support emerging talent. Most recently, he served as 2022/23 International President of the International Live Events Association.
