Trevor is a past recipient of the Social Advocate Award from Restaurants Canada and was named to the Power 60: Inspiring Asian Canadians of Influence list. He is a two-time recipient of the MPI President’s Award and is an Inductee in the Canadian Meetings & Events Hall of Fame. He has produced thousands of event experiences as a producer and executive.
In 2018, Trevor started his own agency delivering premium client experiences. He has helped co-create and develop some of Toronto’s foremost food brands: Kanpai Snack Bar, Superfresh and FatBao.
His agency, The Highbell Hospitality Group, curates immersive culinary events and festivals that push the boundaries of innovation, partnering with over 20 unique venues in the Greater Toronto Area.
Trevor is also co-founder of Quell, an agency representing food and drink talent with a focus on broadening BIPOC work and leadership, and DEI consultation. In addition, Trevor is a frequent consultant, speaker and editorial contributor to industry publications and business forums as well as holding executive posts on tourism and academic boards.
Trevor is the current Board Chair of Destination Toronto. He is a promotional ambassador for numerous consumer brands, was a regular Cityline contributor to Cityline, and currently contributes to The Social. Trevor is the author of the award-winning Double Happiness Cookbook.
