Sydney Rhea, CEM, is the Sustainability Project Delivery Manager for Informa Markets North America Business, where she leads sustainability initiatives across the company’s engineering, fashion, health and nutrition, licensing and infrastructure and construction event portfolios.
With over a decade’s experience in hospitality and event management, Sydney has been an operations leader and event manager at Informa, the world’s largest trade show organizer. Before moving to Colorado in 2015, she lived in New York City, planning weddings, galas and corporate events.
Sydney was recognized with Trade Show Executive Magazine’s 2024 Women to Watch Award and has spoken at IMEX, the MIC Conference & Trade Show and ExhibitorLIVE.
She served as IAEE RMC Chair from 2022–2023 and is the current MIC Chair for 2024/2025.
When she’s not working or championing sustainability, Sydney enjoys time with her family on their homestead. She tends to ducks, chickens and guineas, and helps cultivate hundreds of fruit trees and bushes to harvest fresh produce.
