---Ben Goedegebuure is the Chief Global Strategy Officer at Maritz. He is a leader who spearheads Maritz’ global and industry presence efforts. Ben is responsible for supporting Maritz client operations for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and the overall coordination of the Maritz Global Meetings Network. He is also the executive lead for Maritz sustainability, and diversity, equity and inclusion efforts. Ben is a strategic advisor to clients and provides them with innovative solutions. He is a renowned speaker and has been involved in several global business events industry associations and initiatives. Ben’s long-standing career has been in international association management, meeting planning and conference management, industry professionalization and skills development, and convention center management. His passion for the business events sector and global collaboration was recognized in 2021 with the PCMA Lifetime Achievement Award.
