Josiah Taulbee is the founder of GoLucid, a consulting company that helps event organizers and event technology suppliers align strategy, structure and technology. He leads research and supplier engagement efforts that support both sides of the event tech community—reducing friction in the selection process and improving clarity in decision-making.

Josiah is also the creator of the Certified EventTech Classification Initiative (CECI), an industry-first effort to bring structure and shared language to event technology. His consulting philosophy is rooted in a simple idea: don’t get pitched—get clarity.

Outside work, he coaches youth flag football and spends time mountain biking across Arizona trails. Josiah previously held senior leadership roles at Informa, overseeing registration and event operations across large-scale portfolios. Today, he advises clients on technology procurement and stack strategy, offering fractional event tech leadership to support internal teams.
