Where You Want To Be Tours, Inc. & Out of the Ordinary
Darlynne is President and Owner of Where You Want to Be Tours, Inc. and Out of the Ordinary, two companies that design and facilitate team building programs and curated tour experiences. She launched Where You Want to Be in 2003 and acquired Out of the Ordinary in 2015. Before starting her companies, Darlynne worked as a TV news anchor and reporter for over 21 years, earning a Golden Mic Award for investigative reporting and multiple awards from the San Diego Press Club.
In 2024, Darlynne was named a Smart Woman 2024 Entrepreneurs in Meetings recipient and a Woman of Influence by the San Diego Business Journal. Her company also received the Best Team Building award from California Meetings & Events.
Outside work, Darlynne enjoys hiking, biking, traveling and exploring new restaurants. She has been married to her college sweetheart for 35 years.
