The Bruntsfield Hotel is in the leafy district of Edinburgh's Bruntsfield, within walking distance of all the Scottish capital's sites and things to do. Edinburgh is many things but one thing that stands far above all else, soaring over the castle, festivals, and rich history, is a sense of community.

The Bruntsfield is rooted in this community spirit. Our boutique townhouse has been around since 1861 when William Craig, a renowned doctor and botanist resided here. Originally the building was 3 townhouses that overlooked Bruntsfield links. Doctors lived in each house, on the 2nd & 1st floors, and the ground floor and lower ground floors were the surgeries.

Q1 2026 will see a significant investment into refurbishing all 74 bedrooms to a luxury standard, create a new bar and restaurant and add a further 7 bedrooms in the under-utilised event space. Considerable investment will also be made at the rear of the hotel, extending the restaurant and landscaping the gardens.

The Bruntsfield is the perfect base for incentive groups looking to explore Scotland's capital.
