I have been an active professional in the travel industry since 1995, starting my career at the Icelandic Tourist Board in Frankfurt am Main. After completing a three-year study program and qualifying as a certified travel agent (Reiseverkehrskauffrau), I worked with several prestigious travel agencies in Germany, gaining extensive expertise in creating and managing unique travel experiences.

In 2001, I returned to Iceland and have since specialized in designing, managing, and operating programs for incentives, special-interest groups, and tailor-made travel. This background led me to establish Essence of Iceland in 2016 — a successful boutique Destination Management Company that I am proud to represent today.
